Is the report regarding the sound of the trees authentic from Ibn 'Abbas? (The Shaykh asked the students to research the tracing of the hadith regarding the singing of the houris)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Are the reports regarding the singing of the trees, the sounds of the trees, and the singing of the houris authentic?

The Shaykh : As for the trees, this is a report from Ibn 'Abbas, and Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) is among those known for taking knowledge from the Children of Israel. However, we have a verse in the Book of Allah:
therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes فيها ما تشتهيه الأنفس وتلذ الأعين
[Az-Zukhruf 43:71]
So, for example, if a person desires something of this, there is no harm in it being so. But it may be said that a person does not desire except what Allah has placed in these gardens. Therefore, if one demands the authenticity of the transmission, the transmission must be verified. For this reason, we want the brothers to verify the hadith regarding the singing of the houris.
Do you commit to it? Good.
