Explanation of the Book of the Adhan-07b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: Al-Fadl ibn Sahl narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Musa al-Ashyab narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Ata ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Your leaders will lead you in Salat (prayer). If they conduct it properly, you and they will be rewarded; but if they make mistakes you will earn the reward and they will be held responsible (for the mistakes). يصلون لكم فإن أصابوا فلكم وإن أخطؤوا فلكم وعليهم
Riyad as-Salihin 1838
.

The Shaykh : If the imam does not complete the prayer, the one behind him completes it. This means that if the imam neglects something of the prayer, the one behind him completes it. For example, if the imam makes many movements during the prayer, his prayer will be deficient, so you complete it; do not move. If the imam does not raise his hands for the takbir of intention, the bowing, the rising from bowing, or the standing from the first tashahhud, then you complete it. If the imam recites only al-Fatihah and does not recite another surah, and you are able to recite another surah, then recite it, and so on. The meaning is that if the imam neglects something, you complete it. He cited this hadith as evidence, and this hadith says:
If the Imam leads the prayer correctly then he and you will receive the rewards يصلون لكم فإن أصابوا فلكم
Sahih al-Bukhari 694
Look, he did not mention another narration.
The student: We have "for you and for them."

The Shaykh :
For you and for them. فلكم ولهم
This is the closest.
