Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: Zuhayr ibn Harb, Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna, and 'Ubayd Allah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Yahya, who is al-Qattan, narrated to us. And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us. And Ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us. All of them narrated from 'Ubayd Allah. And Ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, saying: Ma'mar informed us from Ayyub. And Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Ya'qub, meaning ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, narrated to us. And Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Misibi narrated to us, saying: Anas, meaning ibn Iyad, narrated to us. All of them narrated from Musa ibn 'Uqbah. All of these narrated from Nafi' from Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), with the same meaning as the hadith of Malik. And in the hadith of Musa ibn 'Uqbah, it was added:
And when the one who has the Qur'an stands up and recites it by night and day, he remembers it. And when he does not stand up with it, he forgets it. وإذا قام صاحب القرءان فقرأه بالليل والنهار ذكره وإذا لم يقم به نسيه
