If a disbeliever dies upon his disbelief, is it permissible to rule specifically that he is among the people of the Fire?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The honorable Shaykh saysThe questioner : If a disbeliever dies upon his disbelief, is it permissible to rule specifically that he is among the people of the Fire?

The Shaykh : Yes, if he dies upon his disbelief, he is a disbeliever in the rulings of this world, without doubt. In the rulings of this world, we say: he is a disbeliever. Therefore, it is not permissible to wash him, shroud him, pray over him, or supplicate for mercy for him.
As for with Allah, we say that every disbeliever is in the Fire, but we do not testify for this specific man that he is among the people of the Fire, except for those for whom Allah and His Messenger have testified. For example, Abu Lahab, the uncle of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), do we testify that he is in the Fire? Specifically, my brothers? Specifically? Do you testify specifically that he is in the Fire? And he is the uncle of the Messenger. Well, what is the evidence? Stand up and give me the evidence? Give me the evidence that Abu Lahab, the uncle of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), is in the Fire?
The student :
(1) May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. (2) His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. (3) He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame تبت يدا أبي لهب وتب * ما أغنى عنه ماله وما كسب * سيصلى نارا ذات لهب
[Al-Masad 111:1-3]
.

The Shaykh : You have done well, so we testify that he is in the Fire.
As for a disbeliever for whom the Messenger has not testified that he is in the Fire, or for whom it has not come in the Noble Qur'an that he is in the Fire, we say, in general terms, that he is in the Fire. Good.
Do I now testify for every believer that he is in Paradise? Yes, I testify; every believer is in Paradise. But do you testify for a specific person that he is in Paradise? No, except for those for whom Allah and His Messenger have testified; for those, we testify.
So you must know, O brothers, the difference between generalization and what? And specification.
It is not permissible to testify for a specific person with Paradise or the Fire, except for those for whom Allah and His Messenger have testified.
And generalization by descriptions, testify.
Some scholars mentioned that if the Ummah agrees to praise someone, then we testify for him with Paradise, even if it has not come in the Qur'an and Sunnah, such as the four Imams, for example. These are the ones the people agreed to praise, and that they upheld the religion of Allah to the best of their ability. But they did not say that these are infallible, for error is permissible for every human being except the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), for Allah the Exalted has protected him from error in the Shari'ah.
