The Meaning of La ilaha illa Allah, and the Ruling on One Who Worships Other Than Allah the Exalted

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : That there is no deity but Allah. Yes, and the meaning is that there is no true object of worship except Allah (Mighty and Majestic). The evidence for this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand. ذلك بان الله هو الحق وأن ما يدعون من دونه هو الباطل وأن الله هو العلي الكبير
[Al-Hajj 22:62]
We all believe that there is no true object of worship except Allah, and that everything worshipped besides Allah is invalid. So, those who worship the sun, did they worship something invalid or something true? Invalid. Those who worship the moon, they worshipped something invalid. Those who worship the Prophet, their worship is invalid. Those who worship 'Isa, their worship is invalid, and so on. Whoever worships other than Allah, his worship is invalid.
