Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The eighth is seeking nearness to Allah through the state of the person, meaning that the person mentions his state to his Lord, Mighty and Majestic. Mentioning one's state to the Most Generous is a request for blessings. I seek forgiveness from Allah. Mentioning one's state to the Most Generous is a request. Mentioning one's state to the Most Generous is a request. It means you go to a generous person and say, "By Allah, today I have no money, my children are at home, they have no dinner, not even a little, but you say nothing. What does the generous person do? He gives to him. Mention your state to your Lord, Mighty and Majestic, and He is the most generous of the generous. This is a means for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, to give to you. Listen to the words of Adam, your father, Adam the father of the children of Adam. He and his wife, Eve, said:
They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers." ربنا ظلمنا أنفسا وإن لم تغفر لنا وترحمنا لنكونن من الخاسرين
