Is the dhikr after the iqamah, such as saying "O Allah, Lord of this perfect call" or "May Allah establish it and make it lasting," or is silence better?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Noble Shaykh, is the dhikr after the iqamah, such as saying "O Allah, Lord of this perfect call" or saying "May Allah establish it and make it lasting," or is silence better than that?

The Shaykh : The answer to this question depends on the authenticity of the hadith reported regarding this. Whoever authenticates the hadith says: He responds to the mu'adhdhin just as he responds to the one who calls the adhan, and he makes du'a and says in the iqamah: "May Allah establish it and make it lasting," and he makes du'a after the end of the iqamah with the same du'a he makes after the end of the adhan. But the hadith is weak, and the stronger position is that he says nothing; he does not follow the mu'adhdhin, nor does he make the du'a of the adhan.
