The Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercyالرحمن الرحيم

And among its benefits is that the lordship of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is based on mercy. For when He said:
Lord of the worldsرب العالمين
it is as if a questioner is asking: What is the nature of this lordship? Is it a lordship of taking and retribution, or a lordship of mercy and bestowal? He said:
The Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercyالرحمن الرحيم
