Is taking partners with Allah major shirk or minor shirk, and is it manifest shirk or hidden shirk?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the prohibition of making partners with Allah, as He said:
So do not attribute to Allah equalsفلا تجعلوا لله أندادا
[Al-Baqarah 2:22]
Are the partners major shirk or minor shirk? Are they manifest shirk or hidden shirk? This has a detailed explanation in the science of tawhid (the oneness of Allah). If one makes a partner for Allah in worship, such as worshipping other than Allah in the same way as worshipping Allah, then this is major shirk. If one makes a partner for Him in lordship and says, for example, that this creation was created by so-and-so, then this is major shirk. If it is less than that, it is minor shirk. Among the examples of this is attributing a thing to its cause and to Allah together, connected by the conjunction "and"; this is minor shirk, unless one believes that this cause has an action like the action of Allah, in which case it becomes major shirk.
