And among the benefits of the noble verse is that it is incumbent upon one who addresses another to make clear to him the evidence that establishes the argument against him, from His saying:
So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].فلا تجعلوا لله أندادا وانتم تعلمون
[Al-Baqarah 2:22]
and from His saying at the beginning of the verse:
worship your Lord, who created you and those before you اعبدوا ربكم الذي خلقكم والذين من قبلكم
[Al-Baqarah 2:21]
For His saying:
who created you and those before youالذي خلقكم والذين من قبلكم
[Al-Baqarah 2:21]
contains the establishment of the argument for the obligation of worshiping Him, for He is the Creator alone. The grammatical analysis of His saying:
And you knowوانتم تعلمون
The clause is a circumstantial clause in the position of the accusative.
