The questioner : May the Shaykh be respected, it may happen that an employer agrees with a craftsman that the craftsman will buy the raw materials, so the craftsman goes to the merchant and buys the raw materials at a price lower than the market price, and the merchant does the same to ensure that the craftsman continues to deal with him.
However, the merchant writes the value of the goods at the market price so that the craftsman can collect the market price from the employer, and in all cases, the craftsman brings the raw materials to the workplace. What is the ruling on such contracts?

The Shaykh : It is obligatory for a person in transactions to be frank and clear, presenting matters as they are, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the two parties in a sale:
and if they speak the truth and make everything clear they will be blessed in their transaction; but if they tell a lie and conceal anything the blessing on their transaction will be blotted out. إن صدقا وبينا بورك لهما في بيعهما وإن كذبا وكتما محقت بركة بيعهما
Sahih Muslim 1532a
.
It is also obligatory for a person to deal with people in the way he would like them to deal with him. If you are not satisfied with someone profiting from you in a transaction in a way other than the customary manner, then you must not be satisfied with anyone doing the same to you.
If it happens that a customer comes to you and says, "I want such-and-such an item, and you do not have it," you say, "I do not have it, but it may come to me in two or three days." If it comes, he sells it to him after it arrives, and his profit on it should be reasonable. That is, he does not buy the item for ten and say, "Twenty," on the basis that the buyer is uninformed and does not know. The obligatory thing is advice, clarity, and explanation. Whoever deals in this way, Allah will bless him in his sales. And whoever does not deal in this way, the blessing will be removed from him. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.
