What is the ruling on playing the recorder with the Qur'an while the household is busy with other things?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
May the Shaykh be respected, is it permissible to play the recorder with the Qur'an?

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : Is it permissible to play the recorder with the Qur'an in the house, for example, while the household is busy with other things, or some of them are listening but not paying attention, meaning some of the verses are missed?

The Shaykh : What I see is that if there is no listening to the Qur'an, the recorder should not be played. If a person wants to listen to the recorder, let him pay attention or turn it off.
As for the Book of Allah being recited while one is busy with the work of the house, such as sweeping, cooking, or fixing things, there is no doubt that this involves heedlessness regarding the Book of Allah, and it is feared that it is of the same kind as the action of the polytheists who said:
Do not listen to this Qur'an and speak noisily during [the recitation of] it that perhaps you will overcome." لا تَسْمَعُوا لِهَذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَالْغَوْا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَ
[Fussilat 41:26]
