What is the ruling on a man who departs from Muzdalifah in the last third of the night, then shaves his head, stones the Jamrat al-Aqabah, and slaughters his sacrificial animal before the dawn?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A man departed from Muzdalifah in the last third of the night.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : I say: A man departed from Muzdalifah in the last third of the night.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : So he shaved, slaughtered the sacrificial animal, and stoned the pillar, before the dawn.

The Shaykh : That is, there is nothing wrong with it.

The questioner : He started with shaving, then the slaughter, then stoning the pillar.

The Shaykh : The slaughter is not valid except after the dawn.

The questioner : It does not suffice for him, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : It does not suffice for him.

The questioner : The dawn must have risen.

The Shaykh : Except after the dawn; as for shaving, there is nothing wrong with it, and likewise for stoning, there is nothing wrong with it.

The questioner : He brought forward the shaving.

The Shaykh : There is no harm in that.

The questioner : Immediately after the dawn, he stones, if he catches up.

The Shaykh : He stones before the dawn; as soon as he arrives at Mina, he stones.

The questioner : As for the sacrificial animal, may Allah reward you, the sacrificial animal?

The Shaykh : The sacrificial animal, once the dawn has risen, it is permissible to slaughter it.

The questioner : And before that, no?

The Shaykh : Huh?

The questioner : And before that, it is not permissible?

The Shaykh : Before that, it is not permissible, because the Day of Sacrifice does not begin except with the rising of the dawn.
