Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O Shaykh, what is the required duration of staying overnight in Mina?
The Shaykh : The scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) mentioned that staying overnight in Mina is obligatory for the majority of the night. For example, if we estimate the night to be ten hours, then five and a half hours should be spent in Mina. Anything more than that is a recommended practice (sunnah). Yes, that is correct.
