What is the ruling on reciting the adhkar after Fajr and before Maghrib in a group?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Many people gather to recite the adhkar after Fajr and before Maghrib, knowing that these adhkar are narrated in authentic reports. Is it permissible for them to gather in this manner, sitting in a circle and reciting aloud together?

The Shaykh : The best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sit after the Fajr prayer until the sun rose, meaning it lifted and turned white. He did not sit with his Companions in order for them to establish dhikr, tahlil, takbir, or the like. Yes, the Companions would sometimes sit and discuss faith. That is why some of them would say to others: "Sit with us so we may believe for a while". There is nothing wrong with that.
As for sitting to do takbir, tasbih, or tahlil, that is not from the Sunnah, especially if it is accompanied by what some people do, such as shaking the head and clapping. Sometimes one says: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, and claps. All of this is religious innovation (bid'ah), and it entered us through the paths of the Sufis. However, the standard is what I mentioned at the beginning of the answer, which is that the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and such a gathering was not part of his guidance.
