If a person knows that there are people who do not attend the prayer, and they have been advised by others but did not accept the advice, is his conscience cleared by that?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O esteemed Shaykh, if a person knows of men who do not attend the prayer with the congregation, and he knows that they have been advised by others, is his conscience cleared by that?

The Shaykh : His conscience is not cleared. If you know that a person is committing a forbidden act or leaving an obligatory act, and he has been advised by someone other than you but was not successful in accepting it, it is obligatory for you to advise him. Why? Because he may accept it from you and not from the other person. Perhaps the one who advised him first approached him with harshness, while you approach him with gentleness. The acceptance of gentleness is clear. It may be that two men advised a person; one approached him with harshness and the other with gentleness, so he accepts it from the second and not from the first. Yes, ease.
