What is the ruling on one who prays Zuhr behind one who is praying 'Asr, or Maghrib behind one who is praying 'Isha'?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. A traveler arrived and found a person praying 'Isha shortened. Does he join him with the intention of Maghrib and perform a third rak'ah? And likewise, what about praying Zuhr behind one who is praying 'Asr? May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : I want to clarify for you first the stronger opinion. If you come and you have not yet prayed Maghrib, and you find them praying 'Isha, then join them with the intention of Maghrib, for every person gets what he intends. Then, if you joined from the first rak'ah, you will complete your prayer before the imam stands for the fourth rak'ah. Separate from him, recite the tashahhud, and say the taslim. Then join him in the remainder of your prayer. This is the best and the strongest of the opinions.
The second opinion is that you join him with the intention of 'Isha, and when you finish, you pray Maghrib. Here, the order is lost for the sake of catching the congregation.
The third opinion is that you do not join with the intention of Maghrib or the intention of 'Isha. You pray Maghrib alone, then join them in the remainder of the 'Isha prayer. However, the first opinion is the strongest of the opinions. I only mentioned the opinions because I do not like to mention opinions when there is a stronger one, so that you do not hear a fatwa contrary to what we have preferred. Yes.
