The questioner : Is there a hadith from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding a supplication to be said when entering the market?

The Shaykh : There is a hadith that when a person enters the market, he should say:

There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belong the Kingdom and praise, and He has power over everything

لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير

Muwatta Malik 20:131

but it is weak.
