The reciter: Qutaybah ibn Sa'id and Abu Kamil al-Juhdri narrated to us, and the wording is that of Qutaybah. They said: Abu 'Uwanah narrated to us from Abu Ya'fur from Mus'ab ibn Sa'd, who said:
I prayed beside my father. He said: I placed my hand between my knees. My father said to me: Strike your palms on your knees. He said: Then I did that again, and he struck my hand and said: We were forbidden from this and commanded to strike our palms on our knees.
صليت إلى جنب أبي قال : وجعلت يدي بين ركبتي فقال لي أبي اضرب بكفيك على ركبتيك قال : ثم فعلت ذلك مرة أخرى فضرب يدي وقال : إنا نهينا عن هذا وأمرنا أن نضرب بالأكف على الركب
