The reciter: Harimah ibn Yahya narrated to me, and Ibn Wahb narrated to us, and Amr informed me from 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj from Abu Hurayrah:
That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the devil is called to prayer, he turns away and passes gas." He mentioned something similar to this and added: "He is humiliated and driven away, and he is reminded of his needs, which he had not been reminded of before." أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إن الشيطان إذا ثوب بالصلاة ولى وله ضراط فذكر نحوه وزاد فهناه ومناه وذكره من حاجاته ما لم يكن يذكر
