The reciter: Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: Sulayman ibn Bilal informed us, from Rabi'ah ibn Abi 'Abd al-Rahman, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn Sa'id, from Abu Humayd or from Abu Usayd, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When any one of you enters the Masjid, let him say: 'Allahumma aftahli abwaba rahmatik (O Allah, open to me the gates of your mercy). And when he leaves let him say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik (O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty). إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فليقل: اللهم افتح لي أبواب رحمتك وإذا خرج فليقل: اللهم إني أسألك من فضلك

Muslim said: I heard Yahya ibn Yahya say: I wrote this hadith from the book of Sulayman ibn Bilal. He said: It reached me that Yahya al-Hammani says: "And Abu Usayd."
