The reader: And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, saying: I heard Yahya ibn Sa'id say: Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman informed me that he heard 'Umrah narrating from A'ishah that she used to say:
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed two rak'ahs of the dawn prayer and he shortened them (to the extent) that I (out of surprise) said: Did he recite in them Surah Fatiha (only)? كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم يصلي ركعتي الفجر فيخفف حتى إني أقول: هل قرأ فيهما بأم القرءان
