I asked Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), saying: Tell me about something you understood from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Where did he pray the midday and afternoon prayers on the Day of Tarwiyah? He said: At Mina. I said: Then where did he pray the afternoon prayer on the Day of Departure? He said: At al-Abtah. Then he said: Do as your leaders do.
سألت أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قلت : أخبرني بشيء عقلته عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أين صلى الظهر والعصر يوم التروية ؟ قال : بمنى ، قلت : فأين صلى العصر يوم النفر ؟ قال : بالأبطح ثم قال : افعل كما يفعل أمراؤكThe Shaykh : The Translation
