Does the congregation’s obligation fall away if one of them says the name of Allah in a loud voice?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding the congregation, if one of them says the name of Allah and raises his voice, does it fall away for the rest?

The Shaykh : No, because they are as if they did the same, as Allah the Exalted said about Musa and Harun:
Your supplication has been answered قد أجيبت دعوتكما
[Yunus 10:89]
.

The questioner : As for 'Umar ibn Abi al-Salamah, the apparent view is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never left off the invocation.

The Shaykh : Yes, that is the apparent view, there is no doubt in it.

The questioner : In addition to that, 'Umar was commanded to say the name of Allah.

The Shaykh : But whether the Messenger heard him say it, we do not know.

The questioner : Even Musa and Harun, O Shaykh, I mean, was Musa raising his voice?

The Shaykh : Yes, definitely, because Harun was confirming his supplication.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Their supplication was for all of them, yes, yes. So this man, for example, when he inspected the food, he said "In the name of Allah," and that was for everyone.

The questioner : What about the other dhikr, like the invocation over the sacrificial animal, and so on? If a group of people want to slaughter, do they all want to slaughter?

The Shaykh : No, no, the actions differ here. No, the sacrificial animal is separate from the other sacrificial animal; it is separate. One person eats this, and this is for one person. But if we suppose that a group of seven people share in a sacrificial animal, wanting to slaughter it as an 'Id sacrifice or a gift, and the one slaughtering says "In the name of Allah," that is sufficient for all of them.

The questioner : What about entering the mosque or something else?

The Shaykh : Hmm, yes. They are not sharing in it, my brother. Entering the mosque, they did not come in a way that they are sharing in it. These people ate from this food as if they were sharing in it.

The questioner : What is the difference?

The Shaykh : The difference is that the one entering the mosque, we are coming to enter the mosque all together, like those sharing in the food. No, there is a difference between them. Reflect on this. Yes.
