Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Muhammad ibn Muqatil narrated to us, Abdullah narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us from al-Zuhri from Ja'far ibn 'Amr ibn Umayyah al-Damri from his father, who said:
I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) cutting part of the shoulder of mutton with a knife. He ate of it and then was called for prayer whereupon he got up and put down the knife and offered the prayer without performing new ablution. رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يحتز من كتف شاة فأكل منها فدعي إلى الصلاة فقام فطرح السكين فصلى ولم يتوضأ
