The reciter: Ali ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, Abu Safwan 'Abd Allah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Yunus informed us from Ibn Shihab, who said: 'Atta told me that Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah (may Allah be pleased with them both) claimed that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever has eaten garlic or onion, should keep away from us, or should keep away from our mosque من أكل ثوماً أو بصلاً فليعتزلنا أو ليعتزل مسجدنا
