Is it permissible to announce the eclipse prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The news...

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : The news, the news

The Shaykh : The news

The questioner : If they say that the sun will be eclipsed after a day

The Shaykh : The news
The student: Announcing means

The Shaykh : Yes, announcing, announcing. I think it is not advisable to announce it, because if it is announced, its value and weight in the eyes of people diminish, and it becomes as if it is a customary matter. So if it is left until it becomes clear to people.
Also, announcing creates another problem. They announce an eclipse, but it turns out to be a small partial eclipse that is not clearly visible. Some people rush and pray, as happened a year or two ago when an eclipse was announced but it did not appear. If it is announced but does not appear, the prayer is not permissible, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When you see it, pray إذا رأيتموه فصلوا
.
And among astronomers, the term eclipse sometimes refers to the shadow, meaning that the light dims but it is not clearly visible.
May Allah reward you. Until we meet again, if Allah wills, in the week after next.
