The Shaykh : Listening to obscene speech, whether in songs or otherwise, is not permissible, for Allah described the servants of the Most Merciful by saying:[Al-Furqan 25:72] Everything is forbidden; do not listen to it and do not read it. This concludes this session, as the call to prayer has been made. May we meet again in the second session after the second Thursday, if Allah wills. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions. Peace be upon you all.
