Machine translationRead the Arabic original

The reciter: Al-Humaydi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, al-Zuhri narrated to us, saying: Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Utbah informed me that he heard Ibn 'Abbas narrating to him from Maymunah:

That a mouse fell into some ghee and died, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about it, and he said: "Throw it away, along with what is around it, and eat the rest."

أن فأرةً وقعت في سمن فماتت فسئل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عنها فقال : ألقوها وما حولها وكلوه

As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 22:37

It was said to Sufyan: "But Ma'mar narrates to you from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah, saying: 'I never heard al-Zuhri say it except from Ubayd Allah, from Ibn 'Abbas, from Maymunah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And I have certainly heard it from him many times.'"
