Explanation of the Book of the Hearts-03b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Ibrahim ibn al-Mundhir narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn Falyah narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me from Hilaal ibn 'Ali from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard him say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the prayer for us one day, then he ascended the pulpit and gestured with his hand toward the qiblah of the mosque and said:
While I was leading you in prayer, both Paradise and Hell were displayed in front of me in the direction of this wall. I had never seen a better thing (than Paradise) and a worse thing (than Hell) as I have seen today قد أريت الآن منذ صليت لكم الصلاة الجنة والنار ممثلتين في قبل هذا الجدار فلم أر كاليوم في الخير والشر
Sahih al-Bukhari 6468
.

The Shaykh : May Allah send prayers and peace upon him. In this is the affirmation that Paradise and Hellfire exist now, and the Qur'an has indicated this, as in His saying regarding Paradise:
prepared for the righteous أعدت للمتقين
and regarding Hellfire:
prepared for the disbelievers أعدت للكافرين
. It also indicates that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was revealed matters of the unseen, which is the verification of His saying:
(26) [He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone (27) Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers عالم الغيب لا يظهر على غيبه أحداً إلا من ارتضى من رسول فإنه يسلك من يديه ومن خلفه رصداً
[Al-Jinn 72:26-27]
and His saying:
I have not seen like this day in good. فلم أرى كاليوم في الخير
. This is with regard to the vision of Paradise, and the evil is with regard to the vision of Hellfire. The context of this hadith is in the prayer for the eclipse.
