The benefits of the hadith of the highest companion.

The Shaykh : In this hadith, there is evidence that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was severely tested in death, and indeed he was. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was severely tested in the station of calling [to Islam], and he was afflicted with great harm. He was severely tested in illness, suffering as two men would suffer. He was severely tested in death, to the point that no one would envy him for the ease of death after the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). Why? In order to attain the highest rank of the patient (peace and blessings be upon him), for patience is a high station that does not come easily; it requires a trial. So the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was tested by his Lord, the best of Lords and the best of helpers, with such matters, and he was patient until he departed this world while still afflicted with this (peace and blessings be upon him), but he was patient and concluded his life with the oneness of Allah. He said, "There is no god but Allah." The agony of death has stages. Look at the advice of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). In this state, he prepares the servants [for what is to come]. The agony of death has stages, so if the stages of death befall someone, let him not be surprised; this is an inevitability. So he consoles (peace and blessings be upon him) his Ummah with such a phrase: "The agony of death has stages." This indicates the perfection of his advice (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him), and that he is the most sincere of creation toward creation. Otherwise, a person in such a state is preoccupied with himself, but he did not become preoccupied away from his Ummah. May Allah reward him for it with good. He used to say: Sunan Ibn Majah 1625Da’if (Darussalam) And he used to say: thereby preparing the servants for the rulings of the Shari'ah and the decrees of divine decree that are inevitable. In this, there is evidence that it is obligatory for a person to be mindful, when such calamities occur, to be mindful of the remembrance of Allah. That is, make the most important thing for you to remember Allah during events. Perhaps some people, when struck by an event, remember their family. One says, "My mother," and another says, "My father, my brothers, my children after me." This is, in any case, something with which humans are naturally inclined, but the most important thing is to remember yourself. Remember the testimony in such matters. In these circumstances, remember the testimony. Make it what is before you, and Satan will not come to you to make you think about what is behind you. This is among the whispers of Satan. Think about what is before you, and what rectifies what is before you is to conclude your life with the testimony that there is no god but Allah. For this reason, it is obligatory for a person to keep this in mind. Whenever he is struck by an event, let "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah" be before his eyes. Any event of the events, let this be before you so that it may be the conclusion of your life. We ask Allah to conclude our lives with it, for He is Generous and Bountiful.
