Give the shares to those who are entitled to them, and what is left from those wno are entitled to it goes to the nearest male heir. ألحقوا الفرائض بأهلها، فما تركت الفرائض فلأولى رجل ذكر

The Shaykh : A woman has two maternal uncles. One of them married her, and then she died leaving both of them. One is her husband and a maternal uncle, and the other is a maternal uncle but not her husband. We say the husband gets half if she did not leave any children, and the remaining half is divided between them as asabah (residuary heirs).
