Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Amr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Mansur and Sulayman narrated to me from Abu Wa'il from Abu Maysarah from 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: I said:
I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Which is the biggest sin?" He said, "To set up rivals to Allah by worshipping others though He alone has created you." I asked, "What is next?" He said, "To kill your child lest it should share your food." I asked, "What is next?" He said, "To commit illegal sexual intercourse with the wife of your neighbor."
Sahih al-Bukhari 6811
.
Yahya said: And Sufyan narrated to us, Wasil narrated to me from Abu Wa'il from 'Abdullah, I said: O Messenger of Allah, the same.
Amr said: So I mentioned it to 'Abd al-Rahman, and he had narrated to us from Sufyan from al-A'mash, and Mansur and Wasil from Abu Wa'il from Abu Maysarah, he said: "Leave it, leave it".

The Shaykh : The point of this is his saying:
That you commit adultery with the wife of your neighbour
Sahih Muslim 86b
And in one version:
that you commit adultery with your neighbor's wife
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3183Sahih (Darussalam)

This is the point of the hadith.
And his saying:
To kill your child lest it should share your food
Sahih al-Bukhari 6811
This is not an explanation for the killing, because if you kill him, he will not eat with you, but it is an explanation for what?
For the fact that he did this thing, meaning that killing does not obligate him to eat, but not killing is what obligates him to eat with you, and this other wording explains it:
lest he should share your food with you
Sahih al-Bukhari 6001
.
What do you have? It says: "Leave it, leave it"?
The reciter: "And the discussion on explaining this hadith will come in the Book of Faith".

The Shaykh : No, the chain, did Amr say?
