Explanation of the Book of Fitnahs and Rulings-03a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Bishr ibn Khalid narrated to me: Muhammad ibn Ja'far informed us from Shu'bah from Sulayman: I heard Abu Wa'il say:
It was said to Usamah: "Will you not speak to this man?" He said: "I have spoken to him, except that I would open a door of which I would be the first to open it. And I am not one who would say to a man, after he has become an amir over two men, 'You are better,' after I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'A man will be brought and thrown into the Fire, where he will be ground as a donkey is ground in its millstone. The people of the Fire will go around him and say, "O so-and-so, were you not one who used to enjoin good and forbid evil?" He will say, "I used to enjoin good but did not do it, and I used to forbid evil but did it."'
