Explanation of the Book of Fitnahs and Rulings-03b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abd al-Aziz ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Sulayman narrated to me, from Thawr, from Abu al-Ghayth, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The Last Hour would not come before a person of Qahtan comes forth driving people with his stick. لا تقوم الساعة حتى يخرج رجل من قحطان يسوق الناس بعصاه
Sahih Muslim 2910
.

The Shaykh : The first hadith clearly indicates that times will change until idols are worshipped, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) informed:
That the Hour will not stand until the ornaments of the women of Dawas shake upon Dhul-Khalisah أنه لا تقوم الساعة حتى تضطرب أليات نساء دوس على ذي الخلصة
and Dhul-Khalisah is the idol of the tribe of Dawas which they used to worship in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance, meaning that the worship of this idol will return before the Hour stands. As for the second:
before a person of Qahtan comes forth driving people with his stick حتى يخرج رجل من قحطان يسوق الناس بعصاه
Sahih Muslim 2910
it seems, and Allah knows best, that he drives them by way of discipline, and that is due to the change of times, as you have it.
