The Shaykh : The second question: What is the ruling on a container of water into which a rat falls in two cases: if the rat dies in the water, or if it falls into the container and then comes out?
If it falls into the container and then comes out, it is pure, because it is one of the animals that roam about us. If it dies and the water does not change, it is pure according to the stronger opinion as well.
