The urine and dung of animals whose meat is eaten: are they ritually impure, and do they invalidate the ablution or not?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. Regarding the urine and dung of animals whose meat is permissible to eat, are they ritually impure and do they invalidate the ablution, or not?

The Shaykh : Yes, the urine and dung of an animal whose meat is eaten are pure. It is not obligatory for you to wash your clothes or body if any of it touches you. The evidence for this is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted a dispensation to pray in the resting places of sheep, which is where they rest at night and stay overnight, and these places are not free from dung and urine. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also ordered the 'Uraynah to join the camels of zakah and drink from their urine and milk. However, one should not pray in the grazing grounds of camels, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited it. This prohibition is not because of their impurity, but for a meaning that some scholars do not understand, or which is understood by others, namely that camels were created from jinn. Therefore, there is an effect in their grazing grounds from these camels that were created from jinn. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited praying in their grazing grounds. As for the urine and dung of animals whose meat is not eaten, such as the mule, the donkey, the cat, and the like, it is ritually impure. Yes.
You asked whether it invalidates the ablution?
The answer is: it does not invalidate the ablution. Even impure things do not invalidate the ablution, because the impure thing only requires washing, and it does not require ablution.
