The Hadith "Seventy thousand will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment": If a person reflects on the past centuries, he will ask how he can be among them, given that the Salaf have already preceded them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): My Shaykh,
Seventy thousand from my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment يدخل من أمتي سبعون ألفاً الجنة بغير حساب ولا عقاب
A person looks at himself and says, "What is seventy thousand worth?" I mean, in relation to the righteous generations about which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us in his saying:
There is no time but that the one after it is worse than it ما من زمان إلا والذي بعده شر منه
Sahih Ibn Hibban 51:19
So a person means to say in his heart: How can I be saved, when those righteous generations have already preceded me? So what is your guidance, O Shaykh, for one who finds these thoughts in himself?

The Shaykh : First, may Allah bless you: This hadith was raised to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that with this Ummah are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment, and their characteristics were mentioned. Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 911
I mean, who among this Ummah will fulfill these characteristics? And the meaning of the hadith is not that only these people will enter Paradise, no.
The meaning of the hadith is that these people will not be reckoned with and will not be punished. There are many worlds of people, whose number only Allah knows, who will be reckoned with. Allah may forgive them, or He may punish them in the Fire according to their sins, then take them out of the Fire through intercession or without intercession. Did you understand?
So you should work and try to fulfill in yourself these characteristics that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) mentioned, so that you may be among them, even if you are from the last of the Ummah. Did you understand now? Good. Give the brother ...
