The hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he recited His saying, "Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts..."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And this is Abdullah al-Qathami who says: It was reported in the hadith of Abu Hurayrah that he recited the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts إن الله يأمركم أن تأدوا الأمانات
[An-Nisa 4:58]
to His saying:
Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing. إن الله كان سميعا بصيرا
[An-Nisa 4:58]
He said:
So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) placed his thumb on his ear and the finger next to it on his eye فوضع النبي صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم إبهامه على أذنه والتي تليها على عينه
The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, and its chain is according to the conditions of Muslim.
And the Imam al-Bayhaqi said, commenting on it: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) intended by this gesture to affirm the establishment of hearing and sight for Allah by indicating their location in humans" What is your interpretation of the action of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family)? And what is the meaning of al-Bayhaqi's statement, "by indicating their location in humans"?
Our interpretation is as al-Bayhaqi said: The intent is to affirm hearing and sight, and that just as we hear with our ears and see with our eyes, so the Lord (Mighty and Majestic) has His hearing and sight affirmed. However, the eye has been established by texts, whereas the ear has not. Therefore, we do not affirm an ear for Allah, unlike the eye. As for his statement "by indicating their location in humans," his intent is that no one should imagine that their location in Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is like their location in humans. Their location in humans is as you see it in the face and on the head. It is known that we do not affirm for Allah anything other than what He has affirmed for Himself, namely the face. As for the head, no one says this. Does the student say this? Yes.
