The reciter: And Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to me, saying: Abd al-Samad narrated to us, saying: Hammam narrated to us, saying: Qatadah narrated to us from Abu Mujlaz, saying:
I asked Ibn Abbas about the witr prayer, and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: It is one rak'ah from the end of the night. And I asked Ibn Umar, and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: It is one rak'ah from the end of the night.
سألت ابن عباس عن الوتر فقال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم يقول: ركعة من ءاخر الليل وسألت ابن عمر فقال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم يقول: ركعة من ءاخر الليل
