The Book of the Prayer of the Traveler and Its Shortening-08b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah and Ishaq narrated to us. Uthman said: Jarir narrated to us from Mansur from Abu Wa'il from Abdullah, who said: It was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that a man slept through the night until morning. He said:
He is a man in whose ears (or ear) Satan had urinated. ذاك رجل بال الشيطان في أذنيه أو قال: في أذنه
Sahih al-Bukhari 3270
.
And Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us...

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Chapter on what has been narrated regarding the one who sleeps the entire night until morning, then he mentioned the hadith of
A man slept through the night until morning, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: That is a man in whose ears Satan has urinated, or he said: in whose ear إن رجلا نام ليلة حتى أصبح فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وعلى ءاله وسلّم ذاك رجل بال الشيطان في أذنيه أو قال في أذنه
, and it appears that his intended meaning is
until morning حتى أصبح
, meaning until the sun rose and the day became clear, because this warning does not apply to the one who sleeps through the night prayer, since the night prayer is a recommended practice and not obligatory.
