The reciter: And 'Abd ibn Humayd narrated to us, Khalid ibn Makhlad narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Bilal narrated to me, Ja'far ibn Muhammad narrated to me from his father, who said: I heard Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah say:
in the sermon of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) he praised Allah, lauded Him (and subsequently said [other words] and raised his voice, and the rest of the hadith is the same). كانت خطبة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الجمعة يحمد الله ويثني عليه ثم يقول على إثر ذلك وقد علا صوته ثم ساق الحديث بمثله
