The reciter: And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, and Waki', Abu Usamah, and Ibn Numayr narrated to us. And Ishaq ibn Ibrahim informed us, and Jarir and Waki' informed us. And Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, and Sufyan and Marwan narrated to us, all of them from Isma'il with this chain of narration. And in the narration of Sufyan and Waki':
The sun was eclipsed on the day Ibrahim died, so the people said: The sun was eclipsed because of Ibrahim's death. انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ، فَقَالَ النَّاسُ: انْكَسَفَتْ لِمَوْتِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
