Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Muhammad ibn Rafi' and 'Abd ibn Humayd narrated to us. Ibn Rafi' said: 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us. Ibn Jurayj informed us. 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Mulaikah told me:
A daughter of 'Uthman ibn 'Affan passed away in Makkah. He said: So we came to attend her funeral. He said: Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas were present. He said: And I was sitting between them. He said: I sat next to one of them, then the other came and sat next to me.

The Shaykh : Which one is the last?
The reciter: Ibn 'Abbas

The Shaykh : Yes, Ibn 'Abbas, as in the first narration.
The reader:
He said: I sat next to one of them, then the other came and sat next to me. 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar said to 'Amr ibn 'Uthman, who was facing him: Will you not forbid weeping? For the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the deceased is punished by the weeping of his family over him." Ibn 'Abbas said: 'Umar used to say some of that. Then he narrated, saying: I set out with 'Umar from Makkah.

The Shaykh : What is it that Ibn 'Abbas narrated from 'Umar, which he said "he used to say some of that"?
The student: By some of the weeping of his family.

The Shaykh : By some of the weeping of his family, yes.
The reader:
till we reached al-Baida' and there was a party of riders under the shade of a tree. He said (to me): Go and find out who this party is. I cast a glance and there was Suhaib (in that party). So I informed him ('Umar) about it. He said: Call him to me. So I went back to Suhaib and said: Go and meet the Commander of the believers. When 'Umar was wounded, Suhaib came walling: Alas, for the brother! alas for the companion! 'Umar said: O Suhaib, do you wail for me, whereas the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:" The dead would be punished on account of the lamentation of the (members of his family)"?
