Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Abu al-Rabi' al-Zuhri narrated, saying: Hammad narrated to us, from Amr ibn Dinar, and Ayyub, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said:
While a man was standing with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at 'Arafah, he fell from his mount. Ayyub said: So it broke his neck, or he said: So it broke his neck. And Amr said: So it broke his neck. He mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: Wash him with water and suds, shroud him in two garments, do not apply perfume to him, and do not cover his head. Ayyub said: For Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection while reciting the talbiyah. And Amr said: For Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection reciting the talbiyah.
