The reciter: Narrated to us Nasr ibn 'Ali al-Juhdhami, narrated to us my father, narrated to us Shu'bah, from Ayyub, from Abu al-'Aliyah al-Bara', that he heard Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and him) say:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the state of ihram for Hajj, and he arrived when four days of Dhu al-Hijjah had passed. He prayed the Fajr prayer and said, after he had prayed Fajr: Whoever wishes to make it 'Umrah, let him make it 'Umrah.
أهل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالحج ، فقدم لأربع مضين من ذي الحجة ، فصلى الصبح ، وقال لما صلى الصبح : من شاء أن يجعلها عمرة ، فليجعلها عمرة .
