The reciter: And Ubayd Allah ibn Ma'dh narrated it to us, saying: Our father narrated it to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated it to us, from al-Hakam, that he heard Ali ibn al-Husayn, from Dhukwan, from A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived when four or five days of Dhu al-Hijjah had passed. قدم النّبيّ صلّى الله عليه وسلّم لأربعٍ أو خمسٍ مضين من ذي الحجّة
, similar to the narration of Ghandar, and he did not mention al-Hakam's uncertainty in his statement: "they were hesitating."
