The reciter: And Muhammad ibn Hatim ibn Maymun narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: 'Ata' informed me, saying: I heard Ibn 'Abbas narrating to us, saying:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a woman from the Ansar, whom Ibn 'Abbas named but I forgot her name: "What prevented you from performing Hajj with us?" She said: "We had only two camels for drawing water. Her son's father and her son performed Hajj on one camel, and they left us one camel to draw water on." He said: "When Ramadan comes, perform 'Umrah, for an 'Umrah in it is equivalent to a Hajj."
قال رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم لامرأةٍ من الأنصار سمّاها ابن عبّاسٍ فنسيت اسمها ما منعك أن تحجّي معنا ؟ قالت : لم يكن لنا إلّا ناضحان فحجّ أبو ولدها وابنها على ناضحٍ وترك لنا ناضحًا ننضح عليه، قال : فإذا جاء رمضان فاعتمري، فإنّ عمرةً فيه تعدل حجّةً
