The reciter: And Ali ibn Khashram narrated to us, Isa ibn Yunus informed us, from Ibn Jurayj. And Abd ibn Humayd narrated to us, Muhammad—meaning Ibn Bakr—said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say: طاف النّبيّ صلّى الله عليه وسلّم في حجّة الوداع على راحلته بالبيت ، وبالصّفا والمروة ، ليراه النّاس ، وليشرف وليسألوه ، فإنّ النّاس غشوه The Prophet(ﷺ) performed the circumambulation of the House(the Ka’bah) on his Camel at the Farewell Pilgrimage and ran between Al Safa’ and Al Marwah, so that the people could see him, remain well informed about him and ask him questions(about Hajj) for the people surrounded him.
