The Book of Marriage, Breastfeeding, Divorce, Mutual Oath-Swearing, and Manumission-07b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abu Kuraib, Muhammad ibn al-'Ala, narrated to us: Abu Asimah narrated to us from Hisham from his father from A'ishah, who said: I used to feel jealous of the women who dedicated themselves to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I would say: 'Does a woman dedicate herself to him?!' When Allah the Mighty and Majestic revealed: 'You may keep for yourself whom you wish of them, and take to yourself whom you wish, and seek out from among those you have set aside whom you wish,' she said: 'I said: By Allah, I see nothing but that your Lord hastens to you in your desire.'.
